Clarinet and Saxophone Reeds

Hey Clarinetists and Saxophonists (and your parents)! I have just recieved Plastic Legere reeds, enough for each person. Cost is $15 for one reed. "But Mr. Royer" you might ask, "why should I buy a plastic reed for $15 when I can get a regular Van Doren for only two?" Good question. The plastic reeds will never warp, last for months rather than weeks, and you can clean or sterilize them so they never get moldy. They come highly reccomended from Mr. Shaubach at Hans Herr. He uses them all the time when he plays in the pit orchestra at the Fulton and Dutch Apple. He said plastic reeds have come a long way that the Legere's are the best.

Goals?

I'm just wondering if any sections or individuals or section leaders have any specific goals for this year? As the director, my goals are to have fun and to have consistent excellence in rehearsals. What are yours?
